About Deidre Elzer-Lento
Deidre Elzer-Lento is a mother, grandmother, wife, retired Technology Education teacher and school administrator, photographer, gardener, traveler and friend; but not always in that order. Holding degrees in Industrial Arts Education from NYU, school district administration from LIU and Special Education K-12 from St. John’s University she is the consummate educator. She taught photography in the wet darkroom, transitioned to the digital darkroom and has never looked back. She believes that looking through the lens of her camera allows her to see the present and appreciate it. Sharing the images she takes is her ultimate reward.
